We believe your puppy deserves a great start in life and learning the fundamentals sets them up well for their life journey. For older dogs that need that extra help to get back on track, we help them using positive and confidence building training techniques.
Gone are the alpha and dominant hierarchies and in comes Operant Conditioning where you and your dog learn having fun and discovering the world together.
ONE TO ONE TRAINING
Juniper Dogs One to One Dog Training courses are designed to help you and your dog live a more harmonious life together. The sessions take place in the comfort of your own home, garden or local park. This gives you and your dog peace of mind in familiar surroundings. The course does not follow a strict routine and can be tailored to the individual needs of you and your dog.
ONE TO ONE PUPPY TRAINING
Not all puppies are suited to traditional Puppy Classes. One-to-one Puppy Training can achieve great results

About Us
I’m Anthony and I set up Juniper dogs in early 2022 after spending time as a volunteer dog trainer at Newbury and District Dog Training Society (NDDTS). At the society, I have assisted in classes training hundreds of dogs from Puppy and Basics up to Intermediate and Advanced obedience. I have also progressed to leading in puppy classes.

My wife and I approached Anthony to help with training our Husky puppy Frankie. We were really struggling with some of his behaviour (particularly the nipping, oh the nipping.) Anthony worked with us and Frankie on basic cues and fun games/toys we could use to keep Frankie engaged. Anthony talked us through the importance of making sure Frankie got plenty of exercise because he is an active dog. After six weeks of training Frankie became something of a model citizen, passing his puppy class and his behavioural improvements were a marvel. Anthony is great because not only does he help your dog he educates you as their owners to understand them and really bond with your dog. Safe to say we'll be going back for the next level of classes.
